of "smudge reactions" have been recognized. "Type
I" Smudge Reactions are those in which the wearer's body
chemistry attacks the jewelry, damaging the finish, etc. "Type
II" reactions are those in which jewelry attacks the wearer.

but usually eliminating, Type II Smudge Reactions. It has not
been tested for effectiveness and makes no claims to relieve a
bumpy rash reaction (that is usually a nickle allergy - not smudge).
